Pat Tryon


New to the Chaudiere Lodge Guiding Staff for 2016, Pat brings with him 15 years of experience on the Upper French River and Lake Nipissing. A true multi-species specialist, Pat targets walleye, Musky, bass, and pike; as well as the lesser targeted species of gar pike and freshwater drum. As a member of the Slobland Flicks Fishing Team he is driven by the monster Musky that swim our waters. In tune with the seasonal movements of this freshwater Giant, he can give you a terrific opportunity to boat the true fish of a lifetime! If Musky aren't your target species, explore hidden main lake sand flats for cruising smallmouth bass, or pencil reed fields for Northern Pike. Experience the aggressive topwater strike of a largemouth bass or the subtle take of walleye on a jig. Whatever species you crave, Pat will craft a unique and personal experience for you on the water! 
















Billy Commanda


With a lifetime of walleye fishing experience on the French River, Billy is our walleye specialist. Billy is known for his famous shore lunches, and ability to find the walleye when nobody else can! With his custom Stanley fishing boat, he is able to accomodate parties of up to 9 fisherman when requested. Learn the finer points of walleye location and jigging techniques with the most experienced walleye fisherman on the entire Upper French River! 









Mark Plaunt


Mark is another new addition to the Chaudiere Lodge Guiding Staff for 2016. From Gravenhurst Ontario, Mark brings 14 years of tournament bass fishing experience with several oranizations. Mark was Reel Fishing Classic Champion in 2002 and Bassmania runner up several times. Combine this with 16 top-ten finishes, you can be confident that you are fishing with a true bass specialist! Explore the swampy backwaters of the French River in search of trophy Largemouth Bass, or attack main river reefs for giant Smallmouth Bass. If you are looking for steady action and the exciting fight of bass, Mark will show you the secrets of a tournament pro!
